
IT Infrastructure Engineer
Hungary Airlines is seeking a technically strong, solution-oriented IT professional to provide reliable infrastructure support, ensuring the stability and performance of core systems, servers, networks, and services across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Act as second-level escalation point for Service Desk tickets requiring advanced technical experience
· Monitor and maintain servers, network devices, and core infrastructure components
· Troubleshoot infrastructure-level issues (Windows Server, network connectivity L1–L3, DNS/DHCP, virtualization, storage access)
· Log, categorize, and prioritize infrastructure incidents according to established procedures
· Ensure end-to-end ownership with clear communication and follow-up until resolution
· Execute infrastructure changes, optimizations, and maintenance tasks
· Support deployment and configuration of new infrastructure components (servers, services, network devices)
· Participate in infrastructure projects, delivering assigned tasks on time and in line with standards
· Maintain accurate configuration and system documentation
· Collaborate closely with Service Desk, sharing knowledge and solutions
· Assist with infrastructure-related setup for new employees when required
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure components
· Knowledge of Windows Server fundamentals (OS, roles, services)
· Understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, connectivity diagnostics)
· Experience with DNS and DHCP administration and troubleshooting
· Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V)
· Basic understanding of storage systems (SAN/NAS)
· Ability to analyze logs, alerts, and error messages for root cause identification

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· 2–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or L2 support
· Knowledge of Windows Server, networking basics (L1–L3), DNS/DHCP, and virtualization
· Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and endpoint administration
· High school diploma or equivalent education
· Strong English communication skills
ADVANTAGES
· Experience in aviation, enterprise infrastructure, or regulated environment
· Higher education in IT, engineering, or related field
· Hands-on experience with virtualization, storage, or cloud infrastructure
· Participation in infrastructure projects or system deployments
